Test Analyst

Based just outside of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, this hybrid position is working for a leading charity/ membership organisation who offer a range of fantastic benefits!

Job purpose: To support all aspects of testing delivery of new technology capabilities and supporting business processes.

Salary: £40,000 plus 10% discretionary bonus

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours (You will need to be in the office in High Wycombe once per week)

We are looking for someone who knows the fundamentals of IT testing and industry standard test techniques. This role will include a variety of testing across different business areas and applications, so the ability to cope with changing demands and priorities is essential.

In this role, you’ll need to be adept at identifying errors, comfortable logging defects, and liaising with developers and stakeholders to ensure problems are rectified. Ideally you would be ISTQB qualified, but this is not essential for the role.

You will need to have solid business analysis skills and demonstrable hands-on experience in coordinating and performing UAT.

The Test Analyst is responsible for ensuring the overall success of testing and for keeping the Project Manager and the Leadership Team informed about testing progress.
You will be expected to:
– Build relationships with business stakeholders
– Provide guidance on test planning and execution
– Champion the need for controlled testing within our organisation
– Establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert on all aspects of technology testing. Coaching, guiding and supporting others when required

You will need:

  • A minimum of 3+ years’ proven experience in user acceptance testing
  • Experience of Testing applications, with demonstrable experience with CRM and CMS
  • ISTQB Foundation qualified at a minimum or equivalent (desirable)
  • Good knowledge of test automation frameworks
  • Able to demonstrate a broad knowledge of the software development lifecycle and where UAT sits within it
  • CRM testing experience
  • An analytical mindset with superb communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
