Customer Service and Sales Team Leader

Do you have proven experience of managing a successful team within a busy customer service and sales focused office environment?

The Role:

You will be responsible for leading a team and ensuring all sales targets are met, whilst delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Duties:

  • To proactively manage your team on a day to day basis to ensure consistent delivery of first class service whilst achieving company results
  • Ensure you and all the team proactively deal with all enquires, in a timely fashion, in order to maximise sales.
  • To promote products at every opportunity
  • Increase retention by building strong relationships
  • Ensure all the team members work towards achieving targets
  • Manage all assigned team including, but not limited to, leadership, recruitment, induction, motivation, retention, appraisals and performance management
  • Management of complaints in an efficient manner to minimise customer dissatisfaction
  • To provide reports as required by manager
  • Coach and develop all staff
  • Maintain and enhance customer service standards
  • Ensure adequate cover on our phones at all times
  • Completing and assisting with projects
  • Support and effectively communicate company decisions
  • Build professional working relationships with the team, all departments and departmental heads.
  • Lead and support an environment that embraces change
  • Identify, assess, and resolve performance issues with team members
  • Effectively manage conflicts and change with positive results
  • Plan and conduct 121 and team meetings with assigned team

You Must have:

  • Proven experience of managing a successful team within a busy sales environment
  • The ability to work to and driven to achieve targets
  • A persuasive skill set
  • The drive to ensure the team succeed and meet targets
  • Excellent customer service skills together with an excellent telephone manner
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Proven excellent Database Management Skills

You must be an experienced Team Leader, happy to motivate a team and really ensure the best possible Customer Service is being provided and that all sales targets are being met.

Salary: £27,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30am
