Finance Administrator

This is a newly created role based within a financial services environment in a professional leading company which has ambitious growth plans.

You will need to have a head for figures and some previous office experience with a good knowledge of spreadsheets, data entry and ms word, and above all attention to detail!

The role will include
  • Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions
  • Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
  • Carrying out  client checks and anti-money laundering checks
  • Reconcile the funds received ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify discrepancies  and resolve clients’ billing or stock issues
  • Run on-boarding process for clients
  • Day to day liaison with main clients

 

You will ideally have the following
  • Work experience in a general finance or figure related role
  • Data entry skills
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and software
  • Proficiency in English and  MS Office
  • Customer service orientation
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Financial services background preferred (but not required)
  • Ideally a car driver as initially you will be travelling to another local office for training

Salary £20,000-£23,000 plus a generous bonus scheme, pension contribution and holiday entitlement and free parking
