Are you a strong desktop engineer that can also help out with infrastructure?
Our client are a Global Travel Management company who are looking for an individual with great technical abilities and IT knowledge to join their Reading team.
Occasional travel (1-2 days a week) to London office – Leicester Square area maybe required (All travel expenses paid for travel into London)
Salary: £40,000
Job Role:
- Incident management
- Diagnose and resolve all technical issues
- Liaise direct with staff regarding technical issues
- Assist other members of the team
- Occasional onsite coverage (London & Reading offices)
- Alternating weekend support cover
Required Skills and Qualities:
The candidate will ideally be familiar with some of the following technologies:
- Windows Desktop, Printers, Windows Server 2016-2022, Veeam, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, O365, Meraki and Mitel phone systems.
- Good technical knowledge of core IT systems such as AD, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
- General understanding of server, storage, networking and virtualization technologies.
- At least 3 years’ experience within the IT industry
- Proven prior IT Support Experience
Desirable Qualities:
- Previous experience in travel industry
- GDS Support
Paid overtime for: On call rotation (Half day) every other weekend
