Newly created Account Management role reporting to the CEO and based within a leading Bucks company who provide quality products for various construction sectors. Office based role with company visits/travel maybe once or twice a week in the future.

As an Account Manager, you will help the company meet their customer expansion and acquisition targets by acquiring new business and growing existing revenue. You will be responsible for some of their major accounts and searching for new opportunities in the various different construction sectors. You will work closely with the technical and management team to ensure they are chasing profitable business.
What will I be doing?
- Own and drive the relationship of the best customers
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Collaborate with customer and internal team to plan, fulfil and deliver on major projects
- Monitor performance of customers to ensure that revenue is growing
- Listen to what customers are wanting and help feed this back to the business
- Understand the technical needs of the customer and help design solutions for them
- Create plans to expand the account into different products/groups
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Must haves?
- 4+ years previous sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence customers
- Strong understanding of the construction industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a car owner/driver
Beneficial?
- Experience in construction sales
- Experience in project management
- Civil engineering degree or similar
Location?
- Based near Marlow, High Wycombe, Henley on Thames, Twyford, Maidenhead
- May require travel once a week in the future
