Administrative Assistant – Conveyancing

Are you a recent college leaver with ideally some customer service or hospitality/retail experience looking for your first opportunity within a law firm?

Our client are a leading law firm based in Camberley looking to add an Administrative Assistant to their amazing Conveyancing team!

Our client is an award winning, Legal 500 ranked, full service law firm and they are looking to grow their Residential Property team and bring on a new team of Conveyancing Admin Assistants! They are based in Camberley, Surrey and the successful candidates will be joining an expanding firm and working in a flexible, supportive, and encouraging environment!

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing quotes to prospective clients and dealing with initial enquiries
  • File opening and associated administration
  • Database entry and upkeep
  • Production of reports
  • Carrying out ID searches and Checks on Clients
  • Scanning in documentation
  • Covering Conveyancing Assistant workload when on Annual Leave

Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are capable of working on their own initiative, have a mature attitude, and are a strong team player.  An ability to consistently maintain high standards will be essential as will excellent IT skills. Experience of working in a legal environment is not required, although experience within an office environment will be an advantage.  Data entry skills will be essential as well as good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Salary: £20,000 (depending on experience) plus bonus

Working hours: Monday- Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm. This is an office- based role.
