Our client is a leading charity/ membership organisation based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, with a network of volunteer-run branches around the UK. They are looking for a Stakeholder Engagement Manager to build and maintain relations between volunteers in the branch network and staff based at the Head Office. You will be required to drive member value across the branches network supporting the company in its growth strategy.
This role will require working out of normal office hours and considerable UK travel to be visible in the different geographical locations. Flexible working a pre-requisite for this role.
Salary: £38,000-£40,000 plus discretionary bonus
Working hours: 35 hours per week- times may vary. This is a hybrid role.
Key responsibilities:
- Communicating company strategy across its branch network
- Shaping branch plans to align them to company objectives to maximise member value
- Working with branch co-ordinators to develop successful relations and deliver a first-class programme of events, awards and competitions
- Provide training and mentoring to volunteers
- Identifying every opportunity for signing up new members and helping the branches secure these
- Driving collaboration among branches and relevant external organisations
You will need:
- Experience of working in a customer or stakeholder relations role
- Experience of working with volunteers (desirable)
- Budget management
- Willingness to travel to locations around the UK
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – written and verbal
