Business Development Support Administrator

Fabulous opportunity to work  in an Admin Support role in the membership department  within a leading registered charity/not for profit educational organisation. Located just outside of High Wycombe, Bucks

35 hours a week Monday to Friday with excellent benefits including a bonus

This role will provide end to end support for events, webinars, meetings, reporting etc. and this role is primarily desk based (home/office) although there is a requirement to attend external events and conferences, meetings, typically once per week and including some evenings.

Educated to a degree level is desirable but not essential. Excellent communication, written and verbal as well as internal and external relationship building skills are key to the success of this role as you will be working with a range of clientele.

What does the role involve?

  • Support the partnership and business development teams, through the co-ordination of forums, meetings and events.
  • Support with venues, invoicing, agendas, minute taking.
  • Plan and deliver the real-world project management webinar series for members and corporate partners.
  • Support Director of Membership to plan and deliver Fellows Forums.
  • Support with speakers, content, agendas and planning meetings.
  • Coordinate business sector development activity, including planning for events, articles, on-line sector communities and communication.
  • Conduct analysis and research in target sectors, prospects, customers and other business opportunities.
  • Be the point of contact for requests such as mail merges, newsletters and communications to partners/affiliates
  •  Provide ad-hoc reporting upon request.
  • Act as the CRM champion and super user for the team.
  • Be responsible for the chartered support webinars, monitoring uptake and planning ahead to optimise capacity.
  • Provide support with sending invoices and chasing payments for corporate affiliates.
  • Account manage high potential corporate affiliates to develop into corporate partners.
  • Responsible for keeping corporate web pages and hub area up to date with events and resources

 

What skills are needed for this role?

  • Technical competence in terms of IT skills
