Copywriter within Digital Marketing (Graduate or Placement)

We are currently recruiting for a brilliant opportunity, for a candidate who has strong copy writing skills and fantastic attention to detail.

Working within Digital Marketing this is a varied role where you will gain great experience.

The salary is up to £21,000 and the working hours are Monday-Friday 9:00-17:00.

JOB SUMMARY:

In this varied in-house role, you will fit into a team of 2 Digital Marketers within a bigger traditional Marketing Department. You will support the Digital Brand Manager with all tasks relating to content (copy, imagery, video, infographics) for digital assets including the websites, email, social media accounts.
You will hold direct responsibility for the successful company social media accounts (currently Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) to include: researching and compiling monthly post content in advance, with supporting imagery.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Essential:

• Excellent written communication skills – ability to research and recognise valuable content then adapt it to a range of formats
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills
• Able to interpret verbal and written briefs
• Regular user of social media – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest
• Creative and able to think “outside the box” for new content angles
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to get on with internal and external stakeholders
• Sound knowledge of CMS systems, email systems, social post scheduling tools, tools for basic graphic design
• Organised and happy multi-tasking, adjusting priorities

Desirable:

• Demonstrable experience of social post scheduling tools, email systems, graphic design, video recording and editing
• Knowledge of SEO, Google algorithms, CRM systems, workflow systems, PPC, backlink analysis and building,
• Ability to work proactively and independently, within set frameworks
• Team player with a positive “can do” attitude
• Interest in the healthcare industry would be nice
