This is a newly created role located in Oxfordshire, near Oxford, Aylesbury, Princes Risborough and High Wycombe. Currently home based but as from September the plan is a mix of office and home working.
What will I be doing as a Customer Marketing Controller?
- To define and implement the Customer Marketing strategy which supports the delivery of the overall business plan.
- Coordinating with Brand and Category teams, and in conjunction with the sales team, to deliver business objectives of category value growth
- Creation and delivery of strategic customer marketing plans, by sector/channel including ; On and Off Trade and On line
Identification and prioritisation of resource and investment. Aligned to brand and category plans and overall delivery of the
business plan - Work cross-functionally to set toolkits and process for delivery of best in class Path To Purchase
- Deliver best in class execution at POP
- Reviewing value-based investment opportunities as part of cross-functional team
- Work closely with the brand team to ensure all activation is inline with brand vision/positioning and delivers against brand
objectives - Ensure all activities deliver efficient ROI. Manage budgets within agreed levels and work with the Sales team to ensure that all
customer specific marketing budgets are optimised. - Assist the sales team in developing and implementing annual account plans aligned to the strategic plans and lead the customer roadshow process to ensure plans are presented in a compelling and inspirational manner.
- Continually review sector performance and evaluate all activity. Recommend plan adjustments as necessary and carryout ad hoc analysis as required
- Lead Ready to Sell process. Work with the brand, category and sales teams to introduce new brands/products/packs as
appropriate, ensuring Sales are provided with the necessary sales tools to ensure a successful sell-in - Provide clear direction and leadership to the Customer Marketing Manager and ensure necessary development plans are in place to maximise their potential.
- Supporting achievement of value and volume objectives set in the business plan in relevant channels/customers using the most ROI efficient mechanics
- Ensuring Customer Marketing budget allocation is in accordance to strategic priorities and ROI deliverables
