Do you have Advanced MS Excel skills and previous data analysis experience?
If so, you could have the opportunity to work as a Data Analyst for a leading UK organisation who offer lots of opportunities for progression and development.
This exciting opportunity could either suit a graduate or someone with proven data analyst experience.
The role interacts closely with the sales, finance, marketing and admin teams and provides insight in to customer performance. There is a requirement to assist with some reporting which has a wide product portfolio and different customer base.
Role responsibilities
▪ Manage incoming data from all networks for logging, reporting and analysis through a combination of databases and spreadsheets
▪ Understand the sale and commission data being run in order to question and query anomalies
▪ Weekly sales reporting. This involves being the link between finance and sales to confirm their current costings and GP
▪ answer sales and commissions related questions that relies on the data
▪ Various weekly and monthly reporting on sales, purchases, and commission
▪ Checking and approval of purchase and sales invoices
Role measurement
▪ Data accuracy and examples of self-checking on work
▪ Prompt turnaround of incoming data from networks and associated reporting
▪ Meeting monthly deadlines for internal reporting as well as external customer reporting
Role required behaviours & skills
▪ Advanced MS Excel skills essential –Power Query experience and speed in navigating and manipulating large datasets in a quick efficient manner.
▪ MS Access skills desirable
▪ Data analysis experience – the role requires you to be able to make observations on data, express highlights, lowlights and anomalies
▪ Ability to manage time, adapt, prioritise is essential
▪ Accounts / finance admin / knowledge highly desirable
▪ Previous commission analytics experience would be advantageous
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
