Degree Apprenticeship Admissions Officer role located in Birmingham and working in the office around twice a week with the rest of the week at home-hybrid

Key Responsibilities for the Degree Apprenticeship Admissions Officer role

  • Accountability for Degree Apprenticeship offers and query turnaround times with agreed university partners
  • Ownership of every aspect of the admissions process ensuring all degree apprenticeship learners and external agents receive an outstanding level of customer service
  • Monitor application and query turnaround time to ensure responses are provided within the timescale agreed
  • Confirm decisions on applications on receipt of qualifications, verifying qualifications, establishing fee status and updating the student records database

What skills and experience do you need for the degree apprenticeship admissions officer role?

  • Experience of administering degree apprenticeship admissions or similar would be considered strongly advantageous
  • Academic or compliance experience in Higher Education is desirable
  • Experience of working with degree apprenticeship desirable
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment
  • Understanding of the application process and higher education admission process
  • An awareness of good data management practice
