Degree Apprenticeship Coordinator

This fabulous Degree Apprenticeship Coordinator role is working for one of the largest learning services organisations in the UK, developing skills and capabilities for everyone from apprentices to business leaders. Headquartered in London, but with a nationwide network of state-of-the-art training centres.

 

As a Degree Apprenticeship Coordinator you will contribute as part of the wider London Campus support management team to ensure the delivery of a student-engaged, integrated, effective and efficient programme support function for the University, in conjunction as appropriate with colleagues within the organisation and university partners.

 

What are the Key Responsibilities for this higher education Degree Apprenticeship Coordinator?
•Provide guidance and advice to academic staff on the application of the University’s procedures (ARTA regulations) for a designated portfolio of programmes.
•Support for assessment boards including preparation such as distribution of MCRF forms and Sample Approval forms, marks entry and communicating student awards and progressions.
•Responsible for the workload modelling of the programme administrative staff particularly around anticipated peaks and demands to ensure a successful and timely outcome.
•Work collaboratively with Academic Support Coordinators across the university to ensure administrative support is equitable and meets the needs of customers and the programmes.

 

What Experience/ Skills are needed for this higher education Degree Apprenticeship Coordinator

•Previous experience at working with a University, including working knowledge of academic registry and programme support functions.
•Previous experience of line management and developing staff members to collaborate with all staff within the organisation and counterparts at the University.
•Working knowledge of the activities of other areas of the University relevant to the role.
•Experience of planning and organising the activities of self and/or others, working with relevant specialised processes, systems and procedures.
