Digital Marketing Manager

Are you an experienced Digital Marketing Manager ready for the challenge of driving this company forward digitally?

This fabulous organisation based just outside of High Wycombe are offering great benefits and working hours in order to attract the right person for this important role within marketing. You will manage 2 staff members and report to the Director of Marketing.

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for managing all brand communications through digital channels, from delivering stand-alone projects to integrated campaigns, developing brand presence and managing and maintaining the company portfolio of websites. You will review Google and campaign analytics, make digital amendments, improve SEO, implement the overall digital & online content strategy, including social media, email, PPC, content management and blogging.

Additionally, you will act as an advocate for digital marketing and integration across the company, including championing new technologies and approaches, coaching and motivational speaking where appropriate.

This exciting position also involves  developing, executing and delivering the company’s digital / online marketing strategy, objectives, tactics and budget to drive the business forward through key marketing channels; together with ensuring the smooth running and completion of projects.

As part of your role you will review technologies and explore new developments in the digital landscape to find ways to more effectively deliver communication and marketing objectives and also be responsible for improving the design, usability, content and conversion points of the company website and for the promotion and growth of the company’s web properties.

On a regular basis you will review the performance of all sites and campaign reporting to ensure that revenue and costs per acquisition are managed and to ensure positive ROI. You will be able to demonstrate that trends have been identified by providing fast and accurate reports along with recommendations. You will develop and execute solid plans to increase page views, unique visitors, conversion rates and decrease bounce rates to encourage wider reach, increased traffic, greater penetration of target populations and increase quality leads which then lead to conversions.

What do you need for this great role?

Ideally a graduate with a minimum 4 years’ experience of website leadership or management in a similar digital role

Extensive and up-to-date technical knowledge of the full range of marketing services, including SEO, content marketing, on and off page optimisation, link building, conversion optimisation
Expert in user experience design and strategy
Expert understanding and application of expertise, authority and trust principles for website development
Expert in Google Analytics, Google algorithms, Google AdWords, HTML and CSS
Expert understanding of traffic and conversion measurement, interpretation, and analysis to derive behavioural insights
Expert knowledge and application of SEO and keyword research
Demonstrable record in utilising a customer centric approach, to drive adoption, conversion and upsell through web-based platforms
CRM and automation experience
Excellent analytical skills with understanding of how best to implement web analytics to inform on-going improvement to digital content, platforms and channels
A blend of analytical and creative, with a strong eye for detail and ability to problem solve
Excellent copywriting skills together with excellent attention to detail
