Education Coordinator

We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic charity/ membership organisation who are looking for an Education Coordinator to join their exciting team! You will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of the company’s engagement activity with academic institutions, students, and employers. You will also support uptake and promotion of products and services among these groups.

You must be comfortable with public speaking as you occasionally will be presenting in front of large groups. E.g. a lecture room of students. 

Salary: £25,000 plus discretionary bonus of 10%

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the organisations education and lifelong learning strategy and develop the growth and credibility of the programme of engagement with schools and universities.
  • Build relationships with a range of stakeholders to increase the company profile
  • Work collaboratively across the company and with volunteer communities to support the continued success of the education outreach programme.
  • Support the development of innovative new products and services which meet the needs of students and the academic community and promote the opportunities offered.
  • Support the organisation of events and webinars.- This could involve speaker liaison, venue sourcing and venue liaison to ensure the smooth running of the events.
  • Promote and be responsible for the process of academic accreditation among universities in the UK and beyond, to increase organisational visibility and value.

You will need:

  • Experience of dealing with external and internal customers
  • Experience of delivering or supporting projects, including events, to a successful conclusion
  • A knowledge of the education system would be beneficial
  • Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office
  • Experience of working with CRM systems
  • Excellent communication skills in all media: digital, written, spoken
  • Strong customer focus and willingness to learn
