Engineering Account Manager

Our client, based just outside of Marlow,Buckinghamshire, a successful company supplying to the construction industry, is looking for an experienced Internal Account Manager to join their team and report to the Key Account Manager.

As a account manager, you will help look after our best customers in waiting and support some of our biggest client engagements. You will develop strong relationships with your key accounts and also help execute and manage our big projects.

This role is vital to helping drive growth out of the existing customer base.

Targets
Grow net new revenue by £300k.

What you will be doing
• Own and drive the relationship of our best customers in waiting (Tier 2 customers)
• Collaborate with key account manager to plan, fulfil and deliver on major projects
• Raise purchase orders, sales orders and perform checks on stock to ensure we can deliver orders to customers
• Monitor performance of customers to ensure that we are growing revenue
• Listen to what customers are wanting and help feed this back to the business
• Help support to pick up new business inquiries where possible

You will have between 20/40 accounts to look after yourself. You will support on a further 5/10 major accounts.

Knowledge of construction or engineering would be very helpful.
