External Affairs Coordinator

The Role

  • You will act as first point of contract for external affairs, providing advice and assistance to customers
  • Coordinating finance data
  • Information and data management
  • Helping to support the research and events and providing content and dissemination support to the team
  • You will play a key role alongside managers on developing new and existing projects and initiatives
  • Some desk-based research when required

 

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in a customer facing role such as PR, Communications, Marketing or similar.
  • Able to plan and use digital media effectively
  • Ability to build effective business relationships
  • Effective PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to produce clear written documentation
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Well-developed teamwork skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Budget Management (desirable not essential, training will be provided for the right candidate)

Hours

  • 35 hours, Monday to Friday 9-5pm

Salary

  • £25,000 to £30,000 DOE
