Facilities Operative

Great role for someone looking for their first facilities position with ideally a little experience within a warehouse or similar. Somebody hands on happy to do DIY etc.

You will be working for Facilities who are responsible for the day to day running of the buildings providing a safe, comfortable and efficient working environment for all employees.

Based in Loudwater, Buckinghamshire.

Salary: £19,500 – £21,000 (depending on experience)

Working Hours: 08:00am – 16:00pm with half an hour for lunch

Location: Loudwater, High Wycombe, Bucks

Your responsibilities as a Facilities Operative:

• To sort incoming external post and deliver to departments in a timely manner
• To accurately frank all post
• To meet daily post deadlines and meet daily post deadlines
• Carry out Fleet/Pool car inspections
• To assist the Facilities Coordinator with contractor management
• Reception cover when required
• To assist with facilities related requests when necessary
• To print off, pick, prepare and deliver all Marketing Literature orders for internal customers
• To pick and prepare all Marketing Material for exhibitions
• To assist and liaise with the Marketing department on the storage and stock taking of Marketing material
• To analyse returned exhibition Marketing material when required

Essential Skills:

• A proactive self-starter that has the ambition to make the role their own
• Has good attention to detail
• A full driving licence
• Strong people skills
• Good computer skills
• Can work in a team and independently
• Required to cover reception, so the willingness to be adaptable will be essential

Desired Skills but not essential:

• Has a Warehouse or facilities background
