Finance Support Xero Specialist Remote

3 month booking to help transition a companys process over to Xero. Full time or part time

Primarily this is a home-based role, with some requirement to work at the office in Amersham, Buckinghamshire

This Amersham based company has just completed a series of digital transformation projects, including moving key operating and accounting systems onto Cloud Based platforms, and migrating financial accounting system to Xero. They now need some help to optimise the benefits of the new platform with the aim of achieving industry best practice standards.  You will assist the team practically to maximise the benefits of the new technology.

Working as part of a busy team, you will be a Xero expert and the go to person to maximise the benefits of the new platform. You will use your experience working with multiple integrated apps to advise on, and help to deliver, detailed process recommendations, liaising as needed with 3rd party providers and training the team in the workings of the system.

Main responsibilities include:

 

  • Providing a clearly defined process for the integration of Xero with Shopify
  • Responding to Finance queries in a timely manner
  • Liaising with 3rd parties and IT to provide both support and any customisations
  • Training and handover to the Finance team

 

To succeed in this role you will be:

  • An expert user of Xero software
  • Experienced in using Xero as a stock management system
  • Able to streamline the use of 3rd party Apps that work with /integrate with Xero
  • Familiar with using Xero with CRMs
  • Able to document finance processes
  • An AAT finalist/ graduate or study a finance qualification
  • A team player
  • A clear and concise communicator
