Graduate Civil Engineer

Are you a recent engineering graduate, ideally civil or structural?

Are you a car driver living within a short distance of Henley on Thames, Oxon or Marlow, Bucks?

We are recruiting for a passionate, hardworking individual capable of working well in a team and working independently on their own project work. Ideally with a formal qualification in civil or structural engineer however, exceptional candidates with relevant experience will be considered.

Over recent years the company has experienced strong growth and the individual would be instrumental in them continuing to expand. Working in a team of 5, you will report directly to the technical project manager.

You will be responsible for your own projects from the tendering stage right through to completion. Requiring regular site meetings and visits you must be a keen communicator and capable of quickly proposing solutions to problems.

Applicants should have:
– Formal qualification (ideally in civil or structural engineering)
– Experience using drawing packages (AutoCAD or similar)
– Strong understanding of engineering principles
– Familiar with reading and designing to Eurocodes
– Keen to expand your knowledge and understanding of the construction industry
– Demonstrate initiative to find work without being asked

The company are unable to offer chartership, this job would be perfect for someone looking to becoming chartered by providing valuable experience and help build their portfolio of project work.

Due to the expansion and forecast for continued expansion of the company there will be plenty of scope for progression.
