Fabulous opportunity for a recent graduate or second jobber looking for a bit more office admin experience to work within the sports industry as a sports administrator.
Car driver needed due to the remote location outside of Maidenhead and Marlow
This is a 6 month contract but could possibly lead to 12 months
Working hours are 8.30-4.30 Monday to Friday with an hour in the evening from home once a week (time given back)
What does the Sports Administration role involve?
- Provide excellent administrative support to the sports team.
- Coordinate all residential bookings, and other sports services.
- First point of contact for the sports people
- Take overall responsibility for both the smooth admission of athletes and their health and welfare if staying on-site
- Be the main point of contact for athletes to resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
- Manage information systems and database
- Liaise with the landlord regarding athlete accommodation / meals / issues as they arise.
- Act as ‘front desk’ contact for all visitors to the High Performance Centre and IRU.
- Take responsibility for pre-defined elements of daily pool maintenance
- Provide general support to staff members on the use of IT equipment including setting up laptops (Windows and MAC) and setting up new iPhones.
- Raising purchase orders and ensuring timely ordering of consumables and equipment required by practitioners.
