Graphic Designer

Are you a Graphic Designer looking for your next step within Graphic Design? 

My client is a organisation within the Healthcare industry looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join their lovely team in High Wycombe.

Salary: £30,000 – £39,000 

37.5 hours a week 9am – 5PM. 25 days holiday (27 after 5 years service) + 8 bank holidays

Responsibilities: 

• Creatively and effectively use graphic design to communicate to a variety of audiences (e.g., healthcare professionals, patients, suppliers, industry clients)
• Develop multimedia assets for use around the business
• Work with the Marketing and New Product Development team to effectively communicate information to customers
• Utilise design expertise to contribute toward and enhance communication projects across the team
• Produce and amend product artwork with reference to regulatory guidance and processes
• Input creative and design thinking into team and interdepartmental meetings
• Identify and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Can-do approach, looks for new ways to work, uses evidence and influence to build proposals
• Maintain awareness of new technologies or platforms that may assist the visual presentation of our products and services to end customers
• Translation of medical content into illustrative imagery and patient materials
• Promote the use of data visualisation and champion graphic and digital media formats and techniques

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrate a high level of independence, professionalism, and collaboration through effective communication skills and a proven ability to work harmoniously within an interdisciplinary, fast-paced, multi project environment
• Demonstrate mastery in designing a variety of document types, including:
– Animation and video
– Brochures/Newsletters
– PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use
– Iconography
– Data visualization
– Infographics
– Fact sheets and patient information
– Logos

• Experience in wide range of graphic design disciplines
• Experience with digital media assets and platforms
• Experience creating video or animation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to demonstrate collaborative working on projects
• Strong relationship builder – key partnerships, external agencies etc
• Confident presentation skills
• Able to demonstrate initiative and success
• Experience of working across cross functional groups
• Able to interpret and analyse data
• Excellent IT and time management skills
• Must possess a “can do” attitude
• Able to demonstrate attention to detail
