Based in Loudwater, Bucks, this apprenticeship is working for a leading medical organisation who offer a great salary and a range of fantastic benefits.
The HR Apprenticeship will last 12-15 months and you will gain the CIPD Level 3 qualification and career progression opportunities once completed!
Role overview:
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department by undertaking Human Resources administration duties to ensure that processes and systems are completed to a high standard.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
- Undertake administrative duties in an efficient, timely manner and to a high standard
- Maintaining Human Resources database in a timely and accurate manner and produce reports as and when required from the database
- Inform appropriate staff of all new starters and leavers
- Monitor DBS and NMC renewal dates and carry out DBS checks
- Support HR Advisors in the recruitment administration process
- Support to HR Advisors in making arrangements for induction of new starters, arranging induction meetings, sending induction welcome emails and links of forms and folders
- Collate monthly absence data. Maintain absence reporting system and produce timely reports
- Manage the administration process for leavers
- Handling requests for temporary workers across the business and dealing with the booking of Distribution temps and handling the recruitment process of temp to perm contracts (including interviewing and referencing)
About you:
- You do not need any HR experience for this role, just a keen desire to learn and undertake Human Resource studies
- Able to demonstrate skills in prioritising, planning and organising workload in order to meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly IT literate, including Microsoft Office and database skills
- Natural team player
