Marketing Assistant

Do you have a qualification within marketing or marketing experience?

We are recruiting for a Marketing Assistant for our lovely client based in Camberley. This is a full-time, working 9-5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 9-5pm on a Friday.

Whilst the primary place of work is Camberley, this role may include working in the Wokingham office, so a clean driving licence is essential.

 

Job Role:

To work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the business’s marketing plans.

Your duties & responsibilities:

  • Production of marketing materials, working with suppliers, agencies and internal departments
  • Ensuring the company brand and message is consistent throughout the production of all marketing materials
  • Organise and assist with the CRM database and maintenance
  • Point of contact for day-to-day CRM enquiries
  • Branded / Promotional material ideas, sourcing and maintenance
  • Updating information and maintaining content for the company website
  • Email marketing via ZoHo / Mail Chimp
  • Organise and assist with marketing and events calendar
  • Provide operational support for departmental events
  • Coordinate online and offline events as and when required
  • Coordinating invoice records, admin and updating budgets
  • Market research and intelligence gathering

Your personal responsibilities:

  • Deal with suppliers and other contacts in a professional manner.
  • Effective participation in departmental meetings.

Your personal development responsibilities:

  • Consider and discuss with head of department through appraisals, training / coaching requirements in order that agreed personal objectives can be met.
  • Undertake agreed training/coaching and utilise it effectively in the day to day work activities.
  • Effective time management skills
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Ensure IT training needs are highlighted and advised to the HR Manager
  • Comply with the Firm’s administration policies as set out in the Firm’s Staff Manual Risk & Quality Manual (the up to date version of which is maintained on the Firm’s intranet).

Qualifications & skills required:

  • Effective prioritisation of workload and time management skills
  • Able to plan ahead proactively and work to strict deadlines
  • High degree of proficiency with ZoHo or equivalent CRM database platforms
  • Strong communications skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and positive attitude
  • Good problem solving skills and able to find alternatives to current processes
  • Ability to multitask and managing time appropriately
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Salary:

  • Up to £25,000 dependant on experience.
