MI and Reporting Analyst

If so, our fantastic client based in Thame are looking for you to get stuck in and join their newly created team.

JOB PURPOSE:

The MI and Reporting Analyst is the primary support function for the team, ensuring that reporting, trend analysis and insight is provided.

Working collaboratively with other teams, you will need to develop a clear understanding of Client requirements, together with detailed knowledge of both client and company operational capabilities and systems in order to meet the client’s needs.

A key requirement is a keen attention to detail with the aptitude to work with multiple data sources to provide reports and insight to our client. This role requires intermediate to advanced excel skills and the ability to automate and create business dashboard and client reports in a creative format.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To implement and adhere to agreed processes for new and existing business accounts
  • To ensure all agreed targets are achieved or exceeded on a daily / weekly / monthly basis
  • To liaise with relevant client contacts on an operational day to day basis
  • Provide proactive operational solutions / changes / enhancements
  • Monitor and review status of ongoing campaigns
  • To produce timely, accurate client and internal reports
  • To analyse trends in campaign results
  • To understand all the campaign materials and be an ambassador of knowledge and to act as an escalation point internally for Team Leaders on a day to day basis
  • To undertake any other task that is deemed to be a reasonable business request by line manager
  • As a matter of course to have good time keeping, always keep a business focused appearance and to act in a professional manner.
  • To act as a role model to other team members.

YOU MUST BE/HAVE:

  • Educated to GCSE/O’ Level/or equivalent standard at grade A* – C including Maths and English.
  • Excellent analytical skills, enough to analyse and manipulate data in order to make accurate and consistent interpretations.
  • General knowledge of computerised data management systems and experience with word processing, spreadsheet, database, statistical, and presentation software as well as other text, communications and relational database software.
  • Computer literate with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulae and functions.
  • Working knowledge of creating and delivering reports from raw data sources.
  • Excellent data visualisation skills (e.g. creating charts, graphs and dashboard style reports).
  • Ability to automate reporting tasks (e.g. write Visual Basic code or SQL commands) desirable.
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment essential.
  • Willing to learn new skills
  • Knowledge of Salesforce would be advantageous

SALARY: £24,000

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
