What is the main purpose of the National Account Manager role?
- Day to day and long-term sales and brand management of a set of Key UK ‘major’ accounts as defined by the Sales Director .
What is the main objective of this sales role?:
- Main objective is to maximise the sales opportunity using your knowledge of the full ‘marketing mix’ to enable you to hit the sales and profit targets set.
What are the main responsibilities of this sales role?
- Achieve profit and sales targets
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success
- Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients’ requirements are met
- Identify and attract prospective strategic customers
- Implement seasonal range change strategies coupled with effective display material and window layouts
- Network with key customers and retail staff to identify and address specific needs
- Ensure brand consistency and quality in how the company is presented at all points of consumer contact – print, online, in-store etc.
- Negotiate contracts
- Collect, analyse and report sales data and trends
- Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are maintained, in accordance with expected company standards
- Liaise with Sales and Marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products
- Stay up to date with both watch & jewellery market developments and suggest new ways to increase sales
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales management ideally at National Account level, although will consider Key Account
- Demonstrable strong and persuasive presentation skills
- Proven track record achieving sales and profit targets
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Available to travel as needed
- Live within commuting distance of Bracknell, Wokingham, Reading, Camberley
- Good interpersonal skills and prepared to adapt to new ways of working
- Any other duties that may be required
- PC literate with experience in Microsoft packages; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
