Operations Supervisor

Do you have previous Team Leader experience in a retail/warehouse or production environment?

Varied, interesting role where you will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the Inspection Team and for ensuring the optimum number of products are cleaned, tested and uploaded to the website to meet the demands of the business. You will also be responsible for ensuring Quality Control standards are met, as well as overseeing the processing of Repairs, Accessories and answering Customer Service Queries.

You will be supported by an Inspection Team Leader and a team of Inspection Technicians. You will report directly to the Head of Operations on a daily basis.

Main job responsibilities

  • Overseeing the daily operation of the end to end of the inspection process, including an exceptional level of quality control and meeting targets of number of products completed per day.
  • Ensuring the website has sufficient products to meet the demands of the business, you will be responsible for prioritising core products and key lines to support the customer sales.
  • You will pride yourself in your attention to detail and be able to teach others to achieve the same. You will be required to be ‘hands on’ within the process, filling the gaps wherever necessary to avoid bottlenecks.
  • You will be responsible for the performance of the entire inspection team and you must be able to recognise the strengths and weaknesses of the team accordingly. You will be supported by an Inspection Team Leader to ensure that all targets are consistently met
  • Ensuring the highest level of quality control throughout the process
  • Meeting targets to ensure an optimum number of sellable units are online and ready for sale
  • Overseeing a timely turnaround for any units needing repair
  • Co-ordinating the testing of customer trade in’s & refunds and ensuring the information is sent to the correct department
  • Supporting the learning and development of the team members as required

Stock Management
You will be responsible for aiding the investigation of any missing stock or mismatched products. You must act with attention to detail and integrity at all times.
You will be the point of contact for the warehouse Outbound team who will report any issues to you.

Reporting
You will be responsible for various daily and weekly reports monitoring the number of units successfully cleaned and uploaded online. You will also monitor the repair costs and prioritize the processing of core products.
You will be required to supply any cross charges to the Head of Operations and monitor the consumable and accessory stock levels – ordering items as required.

Minimum of 3 years in a Team Leader/Retail Supervisory role

  •  Attention to detail is crucial
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to bring out the best in people
  • Strong interpersonal skills working across multiple teams is a necessity
  • Must be a quick learner, with strong computing sills
  • You need to be comfortable working in a fast -paced environment
  • You will be a self-starter with the ability to manage your day to day workload
  • Must be proficient excel user
