Part Time Administrator

22.5 hours a week completely flexible position to provide administrative support to the Sustainability and Utilities team of a large property company. This role would suit someone who has experience working with data & spreadsheets and is good at liasing with tenants.

Must be organised!

The salary is £22-23k Pro Rota.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly maintain and update utilities databases and query logs
  • Working alongside external consultants to process utility change of occupancies.
  • Dealing with utility billing queries.
  • Liaising with Investment Managers and sub-contractors to ensure the smooth running of projects i.e. meter installations / removals, sub-metering etc.
  • Liaising with sites and sub-contractors to resolve day to day queries.
  • Assist with the chasing of tenants for payment of utility arrears.
  • Liaising with Facilities Managers and site staff to ensure accurate monthly meter reads are obtained and updated.
  • The day-to-day management of Meter Operator Agreements, ensuring contracts are up to date, chasing new contracts and signatures where necessary.

Sustainability

  • Liaise with tenants collating sustainability data
  • Liaising with other stakeholders to collate sustainability information and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
  • Support with sustainability reporting to all stakeholders
  • Support sustainability engagement programmes
  • Responsible for liaising with all stakeholders to ensure compliance with other environmental legislation
  • Responsible for the companies Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) through managing expiries and organising new ones where necessary

Skills Required

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies / inaccuracies.
  • Computer literate, with experience in Excel, Adobe and databases.
  • Logical and organised with a thorough approach and pays close attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and focus.
  • Organised and self-motivated.
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active in approach.
