Part-time HR and Recruitment Coordinator

This Part-time Recruitment Coordinator could be just what you have been looking for! Based in Brookwood (near Woking), Surrey, this is working for a well-established software house.

Due to a busy period of high growth, this is a newly created role to help the HR Manager and will involve managing the Recruitment inbox, creating and reviewing job adverts, posting and managing online adverts, sourcing candidates, screening & shortlisting, arranging and preparing for interviews, and supporting the HR Manager in the administration of the onboarding process.

Working hours: We are ideally looking for someone wanting to work 3 days per week but would consider 4 or 5 shorter days. This role is mainly office-based but there is some flexibility for WFH as well.

Salary: £28,000 pro rata plus bonuses for placements made

Key responsibilities: 

  • Manage all internal vacancies with a focus on direct hire recruitment.
  • Promoting a positive and efficient candidate experience.
  • Source, screen, and arrange interviews with candidates, liaising with line managers.
  • Providing timely feedback to candidates.
  • Onboarding administration, including but not limited to, processing of DBS checks, employment references, ID verification, and Right to work checks.
  • Act as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process.
  • Manage job postings across online platforms.
  • Administration and project support to the HR Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Demonstrable recruitment experience – internal recruitment highly desirable.
  • Ideally the candidate will have worked with technical vacancies or at least be technology minded.
  • Experienced in CV searching using job boards and contacting prospective candidates.
  • Experience of drafting and posting job adverts.
  • Exceptional standards in quality of work.
  • Great attention to detail with a commitment to best HR practice.
  • Ability to deal with highly confidential information, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Ability to prioritise and achieve deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive outlook with a can-do, people focussed attitude.
