Product Marketing Executive – primarily remote/home based 3 month fixed term contract with the possibility of an extension or permanent but not guaranteed. Newly created position. Berkshire based organisation.
IT industry experience is essential (cyber security and or cloud)
2 years’ experience in a similar position, ideally within a B2B with a passion and background in Cyber Security and or Cloud.
Looking for a self-starter with a can do attitude, keen to get hands on within the business and understand how to translate product and learning solutions into business value for customers.
You’ll be an exceptional writer with experience producing copy that tells compelling stories and content across media channels including print, digital, advertising, email and social media. Well organised and highly efficient, with experience of working in the IT industry (cyber security and or Cloud) you’ll be able to work on multiple projects and prioritise to ensure work is delivered within time and budget.
What will I be doing as a Product Marketing Executive?
- Support the GTM strategy for Cyber Security and or Cloud portfolios from early stage development through to launch and post launch adoption.
- Designing and executing programmes that help customers and end users derive value from increased adoption and awareness of the portfolio and business solutions.
- Manage, write and own sales and product collateral and ensure internal dissemination.
- Be fully conversant with latest market research relevant to your portfolios including the ongoing analysis of market changes, customer and competitor activities and product developments. Collate, analyse and draw insights from the research to inform effective planning and production of collateral.
- You will also use your strong digital knowhow to become a true subject matter expert, providing guidance and advice to the relevant portfolio lead and driving innovation through your strong product and market understanding.
- Engaging with vendors to understand their market proposition and to develop effective relationships to derive business value.
- Developing positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation and enabling the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure they are aligned and work efficiently to generate and close opportunities
What you’ll need:
- 2 years’ experience in a similar position, ideally within a B2B with a passion and background in Cyber Security and or Cloud.
- Ability to articulate complex technical information into simplistic soundbites
- Strong communicator – you use your interpersonal and collaborative skills to bring our core product proposition to life and enable others to do the same
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally effectively.
- Confident presentation skills and ability to juggle multiple stakeholders
- Results focused with the end user always front and centre.
