Are you a qualified Project Manager looking for your next role in Project Management?
Our client is a global technology business; who are looking to add a Project Manager with at least 3 years experience to their fantastic team in Thame.
Salary £36,000 pa (pro-rata on Initial 6 month contract)
Contract length: 6 months
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the implementation, control and completion of multiple projects, ensuring consistency and compliance with company strategy, policy and goals whilst facilitating the on budget and on time delivery of products to meet the requirements of the customer
- The management of all supporting project specific activity including but not limited to; installation and deployment planning and resourcing, process definition, customer enquiries, and project related order processing and stock management. The collation and reporting of contract or project delivery KPI’s and management information with particular emphasis on project plan v’s actual in regards to costs, timelines and deliverables
- To be the conduit for building strong, enduring relationships with the customer whilst communicating clearly with all departments and suppliers in the management of the project from joining to completion; taking responsibility for the procedural and technical knowledge transfer of these business streams into the wider organisation
- The creation and documentation of all necessary and supporting work instructions, process maps and controlled documents to facilitate operational procedures and project delivery in compliance with ISO9001 Quality Management standards
- To scope, price and issue the necessary supporting information and/or documentation for those projects that the company decide to pursue and attend any presentations or meetings to support the above
- To track the financials and ensure that any change requests or changes in scope are tracked and covered by customer Purchase Order
- To drive improvements in efficiency by continuous process review and to initiate these into normal working practices and procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Formal Project qualification (e.g. Prince 2)
- Previous B2B experience in IT related industry
- Previous management of Field Service operatives/teams
- Experience of Occupational Health & Safety
- Minimum 5 years proven track record of holding customer facing roles
- Extensive skills in using Microsoft Office tools
- Experience in documenting requirements resulting in quality deliverables
- Risk management governance and reporting experience
