Recruitment Consultant

We are looking for an experienced 360 recruitment consultant at Journey Recruitment in Wokingham, Berkshire to join a warm desk with plenty of opportunities, someone who takes pride in the service they offer and has a desire to build long term relationships with their clients.

We are a small but growing recruitment agency currently with 6 staff members. Ideally you will be looking for responsibility and team leadership and be happy to support the Director in day to day activities. Future progression and opportunities are available and open to discussion

Basic salary plus commission

As a Recruitment Consultant you will:

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and candidates

• Become knowledgeable within your market place and learn all aspects of the business

• Negotiate terms with clients

• Qualify and resource candidates using the database, job boards and LinkedIn

• Successfully place candidates to achieve monthly targets

• Be proficient in telephone canvassing and social media posting

• Continually look to build new client relationships and develop existing business

• Manage the candidate placement procedure

• Visit clients face to face

The ideal Recruitment Consultant will:

• Have recruitment experience within an agency

• Experience managing multiple accounts and multitasking at speed

• Be competitive, motivated and sales driven

• Be a collaborative team player and motivator
