We are recruiting for a fantastic company based in Bracknell, a market leader in organizing seminars and conferences.

This role is part of a growing team with plenty of progression for the right person.

You will be responsible for attendance and inclusivity at conferences at events.

Duties:

• Preparing materials and attending weekly editorial meetings
• Putting forward ideas for seminars and themes
• Researching specific topics to a brief
• Conducting interviews to refine research, under supervision
• Drafting and updating agendas under supervision
• Drafting webtext under supervision
• Researching and tracking potential speakers and contacts to a brief
• Contributing suggestions for sponsorship and listings
• Inviting and liaising with speakers and chairs, under supervision
• Answering phone calls and emails directed to the section, dealing with queries or re-directing as necessary, under supervision
• Maintaining records of contact with speakers and chairs
• Updating agendas and forwarding to marketing and customer services under supervision
• Drafting basic discussion and research document for databasing meetings
• Drafting marketing mailshots under supervision
• Databasing contacts, and sending databasing lists to marketing
• Follow latest announcements and news for relevant areas of policy, circulating significant articles
• Competitor scans
• Collecting and filing press cuttings
• On-the-day duties at events, including greeting speakers and delegates and timing cards, under supervision

You will be a graduate and have some administrative experience in a similar role with a keen interest in politics and administration,

This role is full time, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5pm

Based in Bracknell, Berkshire close to the station and with free on-site parking.
