We are looking for an outgoing and friendly individual to join a leading charity based just outside of High Wycombe, in Princes Risborough, Bucks as a Senior Events Coordinator!

Job role:

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering the organisations most established and highest profile events, including the flagship conference programme and Awards. You will be hitting key targets relating to attendance, audience demographic, feedback and revenue and delivering on time and on budget.

Working hours: 35 hours per week, hybrid or remote working available

Salary: £32,000- £34,000 plus bonus

Key responsibilities of Senior Event Coordinator:

  • Deliver high quality, engaging events to agreed targets and budget
  • Deliver company Awards process from start to finish, ensuring entries process is carried out correctly and accurately, and that the ceremony is successfully delivered in line with key objectives and targets
  • Produce event reports
  • Plan tasks on an appropriate timescale, communicating these where necessary to relevant stakeholders
  • Liaise with marketing team to ensure effective marketing campaign is in place and delivered
  • Work closely with our event production agency to brief and manage each event’s conception through to delivery
  • Plan event roles and briefings for the day of the event, alongside the event manager
  • Make recommendations to events manager in the development and improvement of events

You will need:

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience of event management
  • Experience in coordinating multiple events from start to finish
  • Knowledge of event production, operations, and marketing for large scale events
  • Understanding of budgets, finances and relevant calculations
  • Ability to build effective business relationships and communicate well with a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Well developed teamwork skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Skilled in using Microsoft office suite
  • Talented planner and organiser
  • Enjoys overcoming challenges and problem solving
