Senior Full Stack Front-End Developer

The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record in designing, building and maintaining enterprise level applications in both of fronted (CSS, JavaScript, etc.) and back-end technologies (C# .Net, SQL, etc), and be proficient in working to a deadline.You will be an integral part of the IT Development Team which consists of 7 developers.

PURPOSE:

You will be exposed to exciting and cutting-edge projects and will be involved in the development of new Customer Experience functionality and maintenance of existing systems across several products and be required to contribute to a fast-moving dynamic development team involved throughout the software development life cycle. The role requires significant experience in hands on coding of full stack technologies. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective development and support of relevant applications within the business. The full stack front-end developer will be the key technical resource in the implementation of exceptional User Experience across the internal, external and web Customer Experience requirements.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years commercial full stack development experience.
• Experience in working as part of a team and working towards tight deadlines.
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload accordingly.
• Highly organised and diligent with an acute attention to detail.
• Presentable, well spoken & leads by example.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyse, design and code new software modules as per the agreed technical specifications.
• Create and maintain program documentation and version release notes.
• Perform first level testing of your own projects and second level testing of modules developed by other team members.
• Ensure new projects are compatible with the existing systems.
• Research new technologies and continually update technical knowledge.
• Resolve day to day reported bugs in the system.
• Experience of integrating third party data via API

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience implementing exceptional User Experience whilst providing input on design of User Interfaces
• Excellent communication skills & stakeholder management
• Very strong experience in JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5
• Experience working with one or more JavaScript Frameworks:
  • Preference would be – ReactJS, Node.JS, Angular, WebPack
  • Although these would be considered -JQuery, React Native, Knockout.JS, TypeScript
• Experience in working with REST Services, Web API, WCF, JSON, XML & XSL
• Good amount of C# .NET and ASP.NET development experience.
• Good amount of development knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012 – inclusive of writing SQL queries, functions, stored procedures and triggers.
• Good understanding of relational database concepts & design.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Chart Design – ChartJS, Highcharts
• Automated testing experience
