Our client is looking to hire a fantastic Solar PV Electrician to join their team. The salary for this role is £45,000 plus a bonus.
Main responsibilities for the Solar Electrician role:
- Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues
- Plan and commission installations, indoor and outdoor electrical control, and wiring.
- Visit Installations both internal and external contractors inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Visit customer and sites to support their growth in solar.
- Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications for the Solar Electrician role:
- You will have a minimum of 2 years solar industry experience.
- Full driving licence required.
- Level 3 in Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings
- BPEC – Installation & maintenance of small-scale solar PV systems. 18th Edition
- City & Guilds requirement for electrical installations (18th Edition) (BS7671 Level 3)
- City & Guilds fundamental inspection, testing & initial verification (Level 2)
- Solar PV Installers and Battery Storage Course (Level 3) desired but not essential.
