Do you want to work in the Head Office of a very well known retail brand based in Marlow?
We are recruiting for a Stock Merchandising Planner, to cover maternity on an initial 12 month maternity contract.
You will have an advanced knowledge/experience of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS) and a proven retail background ideally with an element of stock management or merchandising experience.
You will need strong analytical skills with the ability to deal with large amounts of ambiguous data as well as being able to work in a fast paced environment.
Job role
– To be pivotal in driving the category strategy with the Category Manager including planning, stock management, stock turn, markdown and profit
– To manage Open-to-Buy at category level using the WSSI and key line information
– Manage stock levels to keep within budgeted levels, by effective range planning and markdown control
– Consistently manage the supply base, monitoring requirement and intake, and to work closely with suppliers to minimise lead times, create flexibility and maximise availability
– Drive in stock availability and manage branch replenishment and stock profiles
– Improve accuracy of both sales and intake forecasts
– Review and maintain order book to match intake forecasts
– Maintain stock at optimum levels via re-buys, intake phasing and replenish stores
– Assist in developing range plans and provide analysis of range and product performance
