What are the responsibilities of the Supplier Operations Manager role?
- To manage the existing supplier management team to cover core areas of supply including recruitment, training, supplier governance and supplier performance management.
- To support already secured strategic growth and to develop a broader supplier management team.
- To develop and deliver a recruitment strategy to meet significant existing growth within the business
- To ensure comprehensive governance and performance management of the supplier base
- Reviewing processes and identifying ways to develop a proactive and supportive service
- Analyse performance results and implement improvements
- Plan for upcoming organisational needs and implement strategies in a proactive manner
- Ensure processes operate efficiently according to client and company measures
- Determine appropriate staff levels and ensure the efficient operation of the process
- Responsible for undertaking continuous process improvement activities/ projects
- Hold team meetings on a weekly basis with the direct reports
What skills and experience do you ideally need for the Supplier Operations Manager role?
- Strong experience of working in an supplier management environment ideally with recruitment onboarding ideally within a Healthcare Environment
- Excellent ability to influence key stakeholders, work cross-functionally and autonomously
- Ability to manage priorities simultaneously and meet time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Highly organised, self-motivated and directed.
