Talent Acquisition Manager/Recruitment Manager

This is a challenging and rewarding role working within a proactive recruitment team, where you can play a role in shaping the future. You will be responsible for the recruitment processes from conception to fulfilment for the temporary and flexible areas of the business, but you will be able to work across the team to support when needed. You’ll be guiding your team to achieve results and meet all agreed client SLAs in a fast-paced environment. The role is heavily reliant on great teamwork!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strategic partnerships with your clients and colleagues to ensure you have on-going accurate hiring numbers to proactively plan, resource and manage workload.
  • Leverage all relevant opportunities and avenues for candidate generation, directing Recruiters and using agreed budgets to source the best candidates.
  • Support and direct team members in writing job advertisements and decide how and where jobs will be advertised
  • Design and assist with interviewing and assessment days.
  • Become the expert for your area, staying on top of market trends, providing clients and the Talent Acquisition Team with insight and advice.
  • Provide clients with agreed data and management reports
  • Manage, support and coach your direct reports to deliver, develop and grow
  • Supporting with project work engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Achieve 100% of agreed KPIs
  • Work with colleagues to ensure resource is flexed to achieve KPIs.

Personal Specification – Essential:

  • Experience of managing and motivating teams
  • Proven successful experience within an recruitment role
  • A genuine passion for recruitment and matching the right skills to the right role
  • Self-motivated, able to work well in a team and independently within a high-pressured environment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise your workload and multi-task in a busy, varied role
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build successful relationships with candidates and the wider business
  • Proven experience in utilising creative and effective ways to source and engage the calibre of candidates we wish to attract directly
  • Strong Influencing facilitation and coaching skills with exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Customer focused with a collaborative approach
  • Natural sales and marketing flair
  • Highly organised with effective time management
  • Confidence, organisation and interpersonal skills to be able to approach passive candidates
  • Willingness to work collaboratively within the team and support with ad-hoc tasks where necessary
  • IT literate – Outlook, Word and Excel

Hours: 37.5 hours based over 5 days. (Flexible working pattern between 8am – 7pm)

Salary: £24,000 to £28,000
