Talent Acquisition Manager

Berkshire based organisation (Slough)

Do you have solid hands-on internal recruitment experience, with a track record in managing the end to end process with high volumes of roles?
Do you also have a track record in selecting, developing and motivating a high performing, engaged team and experience working with a number of recruitment tools?

Are you looking for more exposure to the operational side of running a recruitment function for various business areas?

Are you also looking to use your creativity in an environment where you will have freedom?

You will be managing a high-performing, capable and experienced team of Consultants, who have directly placed over 450 candidates and saved more than £1.6m in the last 12 months. You will lead from the front and be a player-manager but also leverage their insights/knowledge to make continuous service improvements.

You’ll work with the HR Director and Talent Management Consultant to define the talent attraction sources, best practices and D&I to ensure the team recruit from the widest talent pools.

Building relationships across multiple practice areas and hiring managers is key – you’ll work closely with the HR Business Partners and Executives to understand, plan and offer your expertise on future hiring needs across the business.

Lastly, you’ll collaborate with the MI & Reporting team to understand recruitment trends, set time-to-hires and ATS improvements to ensure that the function is moving forward.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Proven background working in a lead or manager roles within Recruitment or Talent Acquisition
  • Ability to lead teams to achieve the best results
  • Ability to influence stakeholders up to C-Level
  • Understanding of D&I, recruitment best practice and ATS systems
  • Always challenge the status quo and look for continuous improvements
  • Negotiating agency/external vendor terms
  • Successfully championed and developed broad and deep talent pools for future applicants
  • Experience of providing regular reports and insights to support business activity, identify issues and make recommendations
