Warehouse Operative

Warehouse role available in Marlow, Buckinghamshire!

We are looking for a Warehouse/Workshop Assistant to participate in the warehouse operations and Workshop. Warehouse/Workshop Assistant responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing orders and assist in the Workshop when required (Training will be provided).

Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am – 17:30pm

Your responsibility as a Warehouse Operative:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
• Complete diary logs into inventory
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
• Assist where necessary within the fabrication workshop. This can include use of bandsaws, Iron Worker and drilling, also possibly welding if wanting to learn

Your skills as a Warehouse Operative:

• Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Forklift licence preferable but training will be provided
• Full UK Driving Licence
