Warehouse Operative

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative with a stable work record and a forklift licence looking for a brand-new challenge?

This role is in a friendly warehouse in Wokingham, Berkshire

You will be working in a busy and varied environment and will be involved in all aspects of warehousing. Your duties will include order picking, receiving incoming goods and despatch of orders. This role will also incorporate some administration; therefore, computer and administration skills are essential.

You will need to take pride in what you do with a professional manner and  hours of work are 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00am-16:30 on Fridays at the warehouse based in Wokingham. Previous supervisory experience is desired but not essential.

Agreement to a CRB check is essential.

Key skills and experience for the warehouse role are as follows:

• Liaising with couriers.
• Managing all incoming deliveries and shipments.
• Forklift management and risk assessments.
• Performing stock checks on a 6-month basis.
• Investigating and solving customer discrepancies.
• Allocations of pick and delivery notes.
• Advising Operations Manager on backorders.
