Website Product Manager

Based just outside of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, this is working for a leading charity/ membership organisation. The role is hybrid, offers a competitive salary, and comes with a range of fantastic benefits!

Salary: £44,000-£47,000 plus discretionary bonus

Working hours: Monday- Friday, 35 hours per week (hybrid)

Role purpose: 

The role holder will act as the Website Product Manager for the organisation and will be responsible for ensuring that the website is effective and provides an excellent customer experience. This will be achieved through gathering stakeholder requirements, prioritising them and working closely with an external development team to ensure successful delivery of each new enhancement/sprint. You will also be involved with content creation and analytics to measure your ongoing success and achievement towards business objectives. In this role you will also be managing and supporting a small remote team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working with the Head of Digital, prioritise and manage the digital partners’ deliverables, considering changing priorities and long-term business expectations.
  • Develop and deliver the website roadmap.
  • Work with the CRM Product Owner, IT, Portfolio, other departments and key suppliers to identify and define requirements for portfolio-led CRM/web projects for the benefit of marketing.
  • Drive goal conversion increases in key content and digital marketing user journeys through CRO techniques, A/B & MV testing and good UX design.
  • Lead a team to identify opportunities for website content improvement and liaise with relevant departments to initiate content creation or enhancement projects, and drive content and digital marketing performance.
  • Identify and analyse un-met business or user needs.
  • Provide online capability building opportunities.
  • Lead or participate in other projects as required, representing the user and providing customer-focused digital content and digital marketing expertise.

You will need:

  • Qualification in marketing or similar
  • Experience in a similar website role
  • Strong Google Analytics experience and web analytics knowledge
  • UX and UI design experience (desirable)
  • Experience of working with agile development processes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to a non-technical audience
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Understanding of current project management processes and practices including agile methodologies
