Our client are looking for a temporary Warehouse Operative to work in their busy warehouse based on the outskirts of Wokingham.
You will need to be available immediately and hold a current valid counterbalance forklift licence.
The hourly wage is £15 – £16 per hour.
Key responsibilites for the Warehouse Operative role are:
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch
- Receive and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Ensure correct packaging, labelling, and documentation for outgoing shipments
- Store goods safely in designated warehouse locations
- Report any issues relating to deliveries, damages, or shortages
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
- Use warehouse equipment safely and in line with procedures
- Comply with all health & safety regulations and company policies
- Carry out deliveries or collections when required
- Ensure goods areC transported safely with correct documentation
- Operate a counterbalance forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Support general warehouse operations as needed
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management
Skills required for the Warehouse Operative role are:
- Warehouse experience
- Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Experience in order picking, packing, and stock control
- Good understanding of warehouse health & safety practices
- Ability to lift and move goods safely
