Senior Business Development Manager (apprenticeships)

Do you have B2B sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets and KPIs?

Do you ideally come from an apprenticeships or learning/educational type of background with some tech knowledge?

This is a hybrid role (2 or 3 days in the office and 2 or 3 days at home) with the office based in stunning offices overlooking the Tower of London (Tower Hill tube station)

£35,000 – £40,000 basic salary plus £10,000 commission on top ote

Excellent career opportunities within the UKs leading IT apprenticeship provider, your next move would be a Senior Account Manager looking after larger government accounts

You will be selling apprenticeships into government agencies and will be responsible for the following

  • Identify and liaise with key stakeholders/decision makers from a mix of new & existing customers by telephone and email in order to grow the product footprint.
  • Utilise additional platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to grow network of contacts.
  • Input, analyse and interpret all relevant sales management information to prioritise incoming workload and qualify sales opportunities
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for customers
  • Use relevant data housed in Microsoft Dynamics to fully report on sales activity
  • Build territory plan each quarter to maximise on opportunity.

 

What knowledge do I need?

  • Stakeholder management from building initial rapport, to establishing relationships with decision makers who have purchasing authority.
  • Knowledge on how to grow an existing customer
  • Knowledge of the sales cycle from initial contact/prospecting to purchasing service offerings
  • Know what excellent customer service is and how to deliver it
