Event Sales Executive

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Events and Media Sales Executive, working for a leading consultancy just outside of Marlow, Bucks.

There will be an element of home working with this role but must be happy to attend the office in Bourne End and also travel occasionally!

What will I be doing?

  • Managing the development and performance of the sales activities within the Media & Events division.
  • Working with the Managing Director to develop business plans and sales strategy for the events and media which ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Preparing and actioning plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Initiating and coordinating development of action plans to penetrate event and media targets.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Creating and conducting proposal presentations and commercial opportunity documents.
  • Managing and developing business and relationships with allocated client lists.
  • Updating CRM with all opportunities and sharing this with all departments.
  • Selling sponsorship, exhibition stands and advertising space on online magazine
  • Representing the company and developing relationships through networking opportunities
  • Hitting monthly targets

What skills and experience do I need?

  • Experience in events and media (desirable)
  • Experience in negotiation and closing
  • Confident sales communicator, articulate with strong written skills
  • Proven experience fostering long term relationships
  • Enthusiastic and ambitious
